Our customer here booked in for the periodic car valeting and maintenance of his BMW and sale prep, in this instance the vehicle was subject to the necessary prep, 2 rounds of hand polishing followed by 2 coats of hard wax, ceramic spray to wheels, glass repellent and an interior detail.

Method

Prep:

• Thorough safe wash to remove the bulk of surface contaminants. Citrus pre-wash, snowfoam, 2 bucket method.
• Decontamination stage – iron out to remove iron deposits, detar for tar spots/stains and clayed for any deep bonded contaminants in preparation for machining.

Detail

Two coats of polish were applied by hand using microfibre polishing pads for better efficiency and finish on the paint.

Coating

Swissvax BMW specific wax was layered over the bodywork post polish ensuring cure time was left between coats. Layering up protection is most effective for safety of the paintwork and giving longer lasting results. Glass was protected using rain repellent, wheels were coating in carbon collective hybrid coating for 3 months protection and all major trim pieces dressed/coated.

Interior Detail

Thorough detail of all major components, carpets/trims/vinyl/glass/leather using dedicated equipment, products and safe working principles. Our Edinburgh based client was delight with the quality and cost of our standard car valeting service.
